  • Description: The recruit Michalis leaves his wife Maria and their child and goes off to the war in Korea, but soon after he is declared dead. Two years later, his wife agrees to marry a wealthy man, Stathis, who had supported her in difficult times. After six months, and while Stathis was starting to behave badly, Maria finds out that her husband is alive (having gone AWOL before the deadly battle). Maria meets him, and the two former spouses try to rebuild their former life together. Stathis, however, is blackmailing them, so Michalis, to avoid arrest, decides to turn himself in.
